Wild Chaga dual tincture

Inonotus obliquus, commonly called Chaga (a Latinisation of the Russian word чага), is a fungus in the family Hymenochaetaceae. It is parasitic on birch and other trees. The sterile conk is irregularly formed and resembles burnt charcoal. It is not the fruiting body of the fungus, but a sclerotium or mass of mycelium, mostly black because of a great amount of melanin.

This Chaga tincture is 100% made from wild Chaga of North American origin. This tincture’s process consists of 6 weeks of alcohol extraction combined with a 36-hour pure artesian spring hot water brew. The ratio of these two liquid solvents is 1 to 1 and that makes this extraction low in alcohol.
Alcohol extraction using ethanol isolates the water-insoluble components, betulinic acid, betulin, and phytosterols. But ethanol alone will not break down chitin effectively because heat is essential, therefore combining hot water and ethanol extracts together is known as a dual extract or double extraction. This combination is very effective and offers the benefits of each method in a bio-available form.
Alcohol lets the body utilize nutrients quickly.
Alcohol tinctures are extremely fast-acting and effective because alcohol can enter our bloodstream quickly. Your oral surfaces contain capillaries that quickly absorb alcohol.
When taking Chaga tincture under your tongue, it’s entering our bloodstream directly, helping to deliver the Chaga extract benefits almost immediately.

Safety considerations: Chaga is a vasodilator and can mimic a blood thinner. You should stop taking Chaga tea or Chaga tincture 8-10 days before any planned surgery.
Chaga decreases blood sugar levels. Diabetics should seek medical advice and monitor blood sugar levels if taking Chaga tincture daily.
Chaga grows on the Birch tree so those with allergies to Birch should not consume Chaga Mushroom in any form. Birch allergies are not common but usually accompany other known allergies to other foods like pitted fruits or carrots.
Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, using blood thinner medication or herbal products, or are allergic to Birch trees.
