Organic Kudzu root tincture (Pueraria lobata)

Like in many cases, an aggressive invasive plant turns out to be the most vital for our health.

Medicinally Kudzu root supports cognition and attention, the central nervous system, and the immune system. Balances inflammation, cytokine response, and muscular discomfort; supports the lungs.
Kudzu is an herb used in Chinese medicine to treat alcoholism, heart disease, menopausal symptoms, diabetes, fever, the common cold, and neck or eye pain. It is sometimes used in combination with other herbs. Lab studies suggest that kudzu has anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective properties.
Kudzu root is a vital part of Buhner’s Lyme protocols discussed in his “Healing Lyme” book, 2nd edition.

Recommended dosage:

150 lb adult:  25-60 3x daily
100 lb adult: 20-50 drops 2-3x a day
60  lb child:  10-20 drops 2-3x a day (it’s best to start with 5-7 drops x 2-3 a day, then increase)
30  lb child:  5-10 drops 2-3x a day (start with 3-5 drops x 2-3 a day, then increase)

To evaporate alcohol place it in hot water.

Build up:
Always start a course with a low dose. The more severe the symptoms, the lower the starting dose. This is to prevent a lot of waste from being released at once. Because waste is always released (even at low doses), it is advisable to drink a lot of water during the treatment and to use detoxifying protocols and sedative agents at the same time.
Or according to the directions of your therapist.

Note:

It is important to understand that Chinese herbs work by restoring balance to the body. This means that you usually have to take an herb or a formula for a longer period of time than you would with pharmaceuticals in order to get results – usually at least a month, and oftentimes longer than that… it all depends on the individual, his/hers diet and environment, and the nature of the ailment being addressed.

Storage: When properly stored in the amber bottles in a cool dark place, avoiding heat, sunlight, and exposure to air, all Siberian Cedar Land’s liquid herbal extracts will last about 5 years.

Safety considerations:  If you have a medical condition or take pharmaceutical drugs please consult your health care professional prior to use. Do not use if pregnant, during breastfeeding, or attempting to get pregnant.

This tincture may precipitate, please SHAKE WELL BEFORE EACH USE!
