Gomasio is a traditional condiment in Japanese cuisine, commonly sprinkled on plain rice dishes. The original Gomasio is a simple, partially ground a mix of sesame seeds and sea salt.
But the rich base of roasted sesame seeds flavor provides a perfect canvas for blending other delicious and medicinal herbs and seeds that easily cross over into the “food as medicine ” realm.
We like to add Herbal Gomasio to steamed veggies, salads, soup, eggs, anywhere you might want to add salt and pepper.
