Organic Greater Celandine tincture (Chelidonium majus)
This tincture is made with freshly harvested organically grown Greater Celandine (Chelidonium majus) and organic cane alcohol, 1:2 plant-to-menstruum ratio with locally sourced artesian spring water.
Greater Celandine is well known as a liver and gall bladder herb. Herbalist, Stephen Buhner introduced the concept that Greater Celandine would be the appropriate treatment for tick-borne illness, especially when symptom presentation affects the brain, neurological motor function, central nervous system, and cognitive impairment. Greater Celandine has an affinity towards skin, liver, digestive tract, eyes, and immune system.
Standard dosage:
*Please note the recommended dosage may differ from other sources.
10-40 drops daily or as needed, up to 3 times a day. No longer than 30 days.
Build up:
Always start a course with a low dose. The more severe the symptoms, the lower the starting dose. This is to prevent a lot of waste from being released at once. Because waste is always released (even at low doses), it is advisable to drink a lot of water during the treatment and to use detoxifying protocols and sedative agents at the same time.
Or according to the directions of your therapist.
Safety considerations: If you have a medical condition or take pharmaceutical drugs please consult your health care professional prior to use. Do not use if pregnant, during breastfeeding, or attempting to get pregnant. Celandine is a powerful herbal extract that should only be taken for a limited time (no longer than 2-4 weeks) and/or under the supervision of a trained healthcare practitioner.
This tincture will precipitate, please SHAKE WELL BEFORE EACH USE!
