Organic Cat’s Claw (Gou Teng) tincture. Uncaria rhynchophylla
This particular Uncaria sp. is the one Buhner recommends in his “Healing Lyme” book, 2nd edition, as an important part of the protocol.
All of the products are made from organically grown or ethically wildcrafted materials.
Recommended adult dosage: 10-30 drops OR 1/8 -1/4 tsp 3 times per day in juice or water. *Please note our recommended dosage may differ from other sources such as if you use it in the Buhner’s protocols.
150 lb adult: 25-60 3x daily
100 lb adult: 20-50 drops 2-3x a day
60 lb child: 10-20 drops 2-3x a day (it’s best to start with 5-7 drops x 2-3 a day, then increase)
30 lb child: 5-10 drops 2-3x a day (start with 3-5 drops x 2-3 a day, then increase)
To evaporate alcohol place it in hot water.
Build up:
Always start a course with a low dose. The more severe the symptoms, the lower the starting dose. This is to prevent a lot of waste from being released at once. Because waste is always released (even at low doses), it is advisable to drink a lot of water during the treatment and to use detoxifying protocols and sedative agents at the same time.
Or according to the directions of your therapist.
Note:
It is important to understand that Chinese herbs work by restoring balance to the body. This means that you usually have to take an herb or a formula for a longer period of time than you would with pharmaceuticals in order to get results – usually at least a month, and oftentimes longer than that… it all depends on the individual, his/hers diet and environment, and the nature of the ailment being addressed.
Storage: When properly stored in the amber bottles in a cool dark place, avoiding heat, sunlight, and exposure to air, all Siberian Cedar Land’s liquid herbal extracts will last about 5 years.
This tincture may precipitate, please SHAKE WELL BEFORE EACH USE!
Safety considerations: Not to be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
